Description Centratherum anthelminticum is a perennial herb that grows up to 1 meter in height. The stem is erect, branched, and covered with white hairs. The leaves are simple, opposite, elliptic, and hairy. The flowers are small and purple in color, arranged in terminal heads. The fruits are achenes, 2-3 mm long, and ribbed.
Parts Used The seeds are commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine.
Dose The dose of the seeds is 3-6 grams per day.
